Project: 2010 Pastoral Sudan Conference

Nadus Films will be traveling to Southern Sudan this Sept. to serve the Sudanese in several areas. One of the areas we’re serving them in will be pastoral training. We’ll be leading a pastoral training conference in Sept. alongside our partner ALARM. During this week long conference, we’ll be connecting with 80+ pastors from the area and working with them on training “servant leadership” and “spiritual formation”! The cost for this conference is $11,000.00. We’re currently so that we may successfully go and better equip and train the Sudanese. This pastoral training conference is one of their specific requests, and we’re doing our best to answer this need. Donations for this project are requested on or before September 1st.

Nadus Films strives to take a balanced approach to the work it does in Southern Sudan through its partners. Though not everyone with whom we’re affiliated and work are Christians, we, as a non-profit organization, filter our vision and passions through the lens of the gospel. We desire to serve the people of Southern Sudan holistically, to strike the balance between word and deed!

We see and believe in the importance of providing care to all people in Southern Sudan, whether by hanging mosquito nets, drilling a well, or providing a school building. And anyone who has visited Southern Sudan knows and understands the important role the church plays in the local community. The church is many times at the center of much of the country’s rebuilding efforts.

When Nadus Films listens to the needs of the people in Southern Sudan, what we’re hearing from them is a hunger for both word and deed. They’re asking us, and you, to help them rebuild their country while also teaching and equipping them to better love, serve and worship as a free people no longer hindered by persecution!
